Application Delivery Manager (Toronto, Remote)

Our client in Toronto is seeking a Senior Application Delivery Manager to support their IT transformation efforts. This is a 6-month contract engagement, with potential for renewal. The role is remote-first within Canada, but the ability to work Eastern Time business hours is essential. You'll be part of a team transitioning to a new IT ecosystem, while providing guidance and mentorship to other delivery managers and ensuring application initiatives are executed with quality and consistency.

- Support application delivery managers in planning, executing, and monitoring projects
- Mentor and coach team members to build delivery management skills
- Coordinate delivery activities for application maintenance and evolution initiatives
- Collaborate with development, QA, architecture teams, and stakeholders to ensure projects meet scope, budget, and timeline
- Define and promote best practices in application delivery to empower internal teams
- Contribute to the evolution of delivery processes to improve quality and efficiency
- Generate performance indicators and detailed progress reports
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Promote cross-functional collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement
- Participate actively in governance and project oversight committees
- 10+ years of experience in application delivery management
- Deep knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)
- Proven ability to coach, lead, and mobilize multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and change management skills
- Proficiency with project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, etc.
- Strong ability to write structured and professional documentation and lead meetings effectively in English
- Proficiency in French (spoken and written) is an asset for communicating with bilingual stakeholders and reviewing documentation
- You will be required to prove you own a laptop and basic software tools.
